Welcome to Konnekt Kid Corp. registered at 225 The East Mall, Suite 1613, Toronto ON M9B 0A9 (“Konnekt Kid,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our online tutoring services at www.konnektkid.ca By purchasing sessions or enrolling your child in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services
Konnekt Kid Corp. provides online tutoring sessions focused on English, ESL (English as a Second Language), and Literacy skills. We cater to students between the ages of 4 and 18. Tutoring sessions are conducted by qualified instructors through Zoom, offering one-on-one support tailored to each student’s learning needs.
Each tutoring session is 25 minutes long, designed to keep young learners engaged and focused.

2.Tutor Qualifications
All of our tutors are carefully selected and trained to work with children and teens in an online setting. Each tutor has:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
• Relevant teaching certifications such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA (or similar credentials)
• Experience in education or child-centered learning environments

We uphold high standards of professionalism, patience, and adaptability among our team. Tutors create a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for every child.

3.Scheduling and Class Packages
We offer flexible session packages so families can choose what works best for their needs:

• 4 sessions – $100 USD
• 9 sessions – $200 USD
• 25 sessions – $500 USD
• 50 sessions – $950 USD

Packages must be prepaid in full. After purchase, clients will receive access to our scheduling system where sessions can be booked at their convenience.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon.

4.Cancellations, No-Shows, and Refunds
We understand that life happens—especially with kids—so we try to offer flexibility while respecting our tutors’ time.

• Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
• Missed sessions or late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) will be counted as used and are non-refundable.

Refund Policy
You may request a refund for any unused sessions at any time. Used sessions will be recalculated at our base rate of $25 per class, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
Example:
If you buy a 9-session package ($200) and have used 3 sessions, you will be refunded $125:
$200 – (3 × $25) = $125
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to process.

5.Student Expectations & Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. To ensure a positive experience for everyone:
Students are expected to:

• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to participate
• Be dressed appropriately and in a quiet, supervised space
• Follow tutor instructions and engage respectfully during sessions

Parents/Guardians are expected to:

• Ensure a reliable internet connection and working device for the student
• Supervise young learners if needed, especially under age 10
• Communicate promptly about any concerns or changes

Any form of harassment, abusive language, or disruptive behavior toward tutors or staff will result in immediate suspension or termination of services. No refund will be issued in such cases.

6.Technology & Access
Tutoring sessions are delivered via Zoom. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the student has access to a compatible device (laptop, tablet, etc.), headphones and a stable internet connection.
Konnekt Kid Corp. is not responsible for missed sessions due to technical difficulties on the client’s side.

7.Privacy and Data Protection
We value your privacy. All personal information shared with us, including names, contact information, and session data, is used solely for the purpose of delivering our tutoring services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Tutors are also trained in handling student information with confidentiality and care. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

8.Limitation of Liability
While we strive to offer high-quality, engaging educational support, Konnekt Kid Corp. does not guarantee specific academic results or performance improvements. We serve as a supplemental resource, not a replacement for formal education.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konnekt Kid Corp. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9.Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario in the event of any dispute.

10.Modifications to Terms
Konnekt Kid Corp. reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email and/or posted on our website. Continued use of our services following such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
